Care of Desert Vista Dyeworks Yarn

Desert Vista Dyeworks uses professional acid dyes on all of our yarns. HOWEVER, being hand-dyed yarn we cannot always guarantee that during the first wash a little dye loss may occur, so don't be alarmed! You can prevent a lot of dye loss by washing all dyed yarns in cold water.

Hand wash all of our yarns using cold water and a color catcher. DVD does not reccommend the use of any type of wool wash until it is determined that there is no bleeding of dye.
